Razumijevanje fenomena radikalizacije mladih

Mladi su jedna od najranjivijih društvenih skupina i lako postaju podložni radikalnim stavovima i nasilnom ekstremizmu. Kriza identiteta, frustracija, otuđenost i marginalizacija samo su neki od mnoštva uzroka radikalizacije među mladima, a osobito ako je riječ o mladim migrantima, izbjeglicama ili tražiteljima azila. Iako je islamizam s pravom prva asocijacija na pojam ekstremizma, Europa je također suočena s rastom lijevog i desnog ekstremizma. U takvoj je situaciji nužno djelovati preventivno i ojačati povjerenje u europske (i općeljudske) vrijednosti slobode, poštivanja ljudskog dostojanstva, demokracije i dijaloga, a osobe koje rade s mladima u ustanovama, institucijama i udrugama pritom snose iznimnu odgovornost. 

Prijavi se za sudjelovanje na besplatnoj dvodnevnoj edukaciji koja će se održati u Zagrebu 27. i 28. svibnja 2021. godine. Za osobe koje dolaze izvan Zagreba troškovi javnog prijevoza će biti refundirani u potpunosti, a smještaj i obroci za sudionike su osigurani u hotelu.

Edukacija će se održati na engleskom jeziku te je potrebno osnovno poznavanje engleskog jezika u govoru i pismu, a namijenjena je osobama koje direktno rade s mladima u udrugama, školama, ustanovama, institucijama i organizacijama.

Dr. Ferhat Goktepe is a Researcher and Associate Professor and received his PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration from Spalding University. His areas of expertise are criminal justice, counterterrorism, radicalism and violent extremism and education. For over two decades, he has worked in the Counter-Terrorism Department in Turkey. He also worked for the United Nations in the Regional Crime Squad, Serious Crimes Investigation in the Kosovo mission. 

Massimo Ronco is a Research and Policy Analyst at the Intercultural Dialogue Platform in Brussels. He has a background in political and social studies, with a master's degree in international studies from Turin and a second master's degree in EU external relations/foreign policy from the Brussels School of International Studies in Kent. His areas of interest and research are the following: De-radicalisation, Terrorism, Migrant Integration and Middle East Politics.

Sara Bozzi is a Social Media Manager and a content creator at the Intercultural Dialogue Platform. She graduated with Laude from the University of Pisa in Communication and Advertising with a thesis on Ethics of Advertising. She is an experienced Social Media Marketer and UX/UI designer. 

Seyma Celem is the Project Manager of the Extremely EUnited project which aims to provide alternative narratives against radicalism especially on social media platforms. She accomplished her Master degree in political studies. She is also working as a Project Assistant and Researcher in Erasmus+ projects on the topic of inclusive education/society for disadvantages people (women, migrants, refugees, people with disabilities, elderly people, etc).

Eva Cijs is a master graduate in human rights, migration and integration studies. She is a Communication and Programme manager at the Intercultural Dialogue Platform and an Intercultural Trainer. She develops and gives trainings on cultural Intelligence (CQ), integration, self-development and identity building. 

Ludmila Malai is the General Project Manager of the CommUnity project. She holds a master’s degree in Security studies and Diplomacy and a specialized master’s degree in International Law. She has extensive experience in writing and/or coordinating European Projects on topics such as Radicalisation, Migrant Women Empowerment, Racism and Islamophobia. She develops and gives trainings on emotional Intelligence, identity and intercultural dialogue. 

Patricia Huion is an educational entrepreneur passionate about creating engaging and inclusive learning environments, creating new understandings of and solutions to the ‘pains’ of society. She is a very intense listener and observer, feeling and intuiting new pathways into what is not there yet. She prefers working on the thresholds where knowledge communities may meet, loves to ‘possibilise’ through unorthodox links and enjoys tinkering with storyworlds. Writing stories, papers and European projects are her favourite activities. Raquel Pinto-Bello Gomez, UCLL Researcher, studied psychology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specialising in work and social psychology, and specialised in early childhood education at the Universität Bremen. She is currently involved in several EU-funded projects focusing on migration as a project manager and researcher.
